Education also remains a priority. In 2011, Ramsey test scores were 11.7 percent higher than the state average in reading and 12.2 percent higher in math in 2011, according to Money Magazine.
Highway 169 and State Highway 47 both run through Ramsey and the Northstar Commuter Rail, which already runs through the city, is scheduled to have a station stop in the city in the near future.
