Recent test scores are a testament to the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school district’s efforts. In 2010, test scores for Eagan students were 26.9 percent higher than the state average in reading and 37.3 percent higher in math, according to Money Magazine.
Once of the most well-known amenities in Eagan is Cascade Bay, the state’s largest outdoor municipal water park. Eagan is also home to The Blast, a play area designed especially for toddlers, are both located in Eagan. Another family-friendly attraction in Eagan is Market Fest, a weekly (during the summer and fall) event that offers fresh produce, handcrafted goods and concerts.
Eagan — the eighth-largest city in the state — is located south of St. Paul, and just minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Mall of America in neighboring Bloomington.
